My name is Kathleen Waido and I have been a Registered Nurse working with the Elderly population for 16 years. I began my company after working as Director of Nursing at an Assisted Living Community with a dementia unit. I really began to notice the stress of my residents related to selling and leaving their home where they have spent a lifelong journey. Most resident may have had a fall or started to lose their memory/forget things a bit or just couldn't maintain a home alone any longer-but for the most part were in very good health. I began to believe that these were people who could remain in their home if they just had a little help to do tasks they no longer could. At this point I left my position and began Angel Care,LLC.

I have been in service now for 4 years. It has given me the job satisfaction that one searches for, in the fact that we have been able to keep many wonderful people home, out of the Assisted Livings and Nursing Homes. We offer such a flexible array of services that given the right help I believe anyone with the desire to remain home can-and should!
